This simulator is used for development and testing of the PER|FORMER sequencer. It allows me to have shorter iteration times during development and to work on the firmware without having access to the hardware module. Note that this simulator is not intended to be a production sequencer on the desktop, but should allow people interested in building a PER|FORMER module to quickly play with some of its features. In addition, please note that the timing accuracy of the simulator is not comparable to the hardware module, especially running in the browser. To learn how to use the sequencer check the User Manual.
In order to actually output some audio when running the sequencer, the simulator has a small sound engine attached to it that is hardwired to the sequencers gate and CV outputs. The following voices are set up:
Track | Gate | CV | Sound |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Trigger | - | Kick |
2 | Trigger | - | Snare |
3 | Trigger | - | Rimshot |
4 | Trigger | - | Clap |
5 | Trigger | - | Closed Hat |
6 | Trigger | - | Open Hat |
7 | Trigger | - | Tom |
8 | Gate | Pitch | Simple Monosynth Voice |
To control the sequencer, the following mapping is used:

Mouse Wheel | ENCODER rotate |
Space | ENCODER press |
